Helping Drake International show its heart
We don't do a lot of TVCs but we recently had the opportunity to work with a limited budget to create a 30sec spot for leading company recruitment Drake International.
Drake are a major of sponsor of 2010/2011 Hyundai A League freshman Melbourne Heart, and the TVC was developed for presentation at Heart matches at AMMI Park.
With limited time to turn the project around, we opted to shoot the project on DSLRs - and with the assistance of Melbourne Heart players including former Socceroos John Aloisi and Michael Beauchamp - went about creating an amusing distraction/branding exercise for Heart fans on game day.
The scenes were all shot at Drake's Melbourne HQ on the 40th floor of a Collins St monolith and all the participants were Drake staff - great credit must go to Danni who never complained about taking a soccer ball to the head - even after the 7th take.
